Quality improvement, safety and cost-effectiveness of medical care for newborn infants and their families is the goal of the NIC/Q Collaborative of Vermont Oxford Network.

Nicq.org is a doorway to the private workspace maintained by the Vermont Oxford Network for its members. Multidisciplinary teams of healthcare professionals from hospitals around the world are working together in a coordinated program of research, education and quality improvement projects to build an evolving archive of practical improvement knowledge in newborn medicine. This unique web-based archive fosters collaborative learning and provides participants with rapid access to tools, skills, information and resources designed to improve the quality and safety of medical care for newborn infants and their families.
