National Quality Forum-Endorsed Performance Measures

The National Quality Forum (NQF) is a nonprofit organization that aims to improve the quality of healthcare for all Americans by setting national priorities and goals for performance improvement, endorsing national consensus standards for measuring and publicly reporting on performance, and promoting the attainment of national goals through education and outreach programs.

Vermont Oxford Network is a steward for two NQF-Endorsed Performance Measures. These are:

  1. Late Sepsis or Meningitis in Very Low Birth Weight (VLBW) Neonates (risk-adjusted). NQF#0304
  2. Proportion of Infants 22 to 29 Weeks Gestation Screened for Retinopathy of Prematurity. NQF#0483
